Keeping your car in good shape will increase its fuel-efficiency. Want to increase your fuel economy by up to 20 percent? Take these steps to reduce your gasoline bill.
- Get a tune-up.
- Replace the air and fuel filters.
- Keep your tires properly inflated.
- Get a wheel alignment.
- Check your owners' manual to make sure you are using the right grade of gasoline.
- Avoid idling and unnecessary driving.
