<Tigre_bianco> Have you gone through a time of trial or blessing

<Tigre_bianco> that you consider "life changing" ?

<Tigre_bianco> Many things can

<Tigre_bianco> cause us to feel as though our lives are somehow different,

<Tigre_bianco> but none are as powerful as what we experience when we

<Tigre_bianco> becme Christians.

<Tigre_bianco> From the moment that we accept

<Tigre_bianco> Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, our lives are forever transformed.

<Tigre_bianco> .......

<Tigre_bianco> Believers gain even more than assurance of eternal salvation---

<Tigre_bianco> followers of Christ experience a complete life change.

<Tigre_bianco> ..........

<Tigre_bianco> (2 Corinthians 5:16) Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

<Tigre_bianco> (2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

<Tigre_bianco> the sins of our past are forgiven.

<Tigre_bianco> (2 Corinthians 5:21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

<Tigre_bianco> We are new creatures in Christ.

<Tigre_bianco> (2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

<Tigre_bianco> We walk in newness of life.

<Tigre_bianco> (Romans 6:4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

<Tigre_bianco> we put on a "new self".

<Tigre_bianco> .......

<Tigre_bianco> (Ephesians 4:24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

<Tigre_bianco> (Colossians 3:10) And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

<Tigre_bianco> Jesus came to reconcile the world to the Father.

<Tigre_bianco> .........

<Tigre_bianco> (2 Corinthians 5:18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

<Tigre_bianco> (2 Corinthians 5:19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

<Tigre_bianco> As a result, those who follow God will begin to

<Tigre_bianco> reflect His will, His work,and His ways in

<Tigre_bianco> greater measure.

<Tigre_bianco> Our minds are being renewed by the word of God.

<Tigre_bianco> ......

<Tigre_bianco> (Romans 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

<Tigre_bianco> We walk in accordance with the leading of the Holy Spirit.

<Tigre_bianco> (Galatians 5:19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

<Tigre_bianco> (Galatians 5:20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

<Tigre_bianco> (Galatians 5:21) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

<Tigre_bianco> (Galatians 5:22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

<Tigre_bianco> (Galatians 5:23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

<Tigre_bianco> (Galatians 5:24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

<Tigre_bianco> (Galatians 5:25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

<Tigre_bianco> We will function in the wisdom of God rather than the wisdom of man.

<Tigre_bianco> .......

<Tigre_bianco> (James 3:13) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

<Tigre_bianco> (James 3:14) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

<Tigre_bianco> (James 3:15) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

<Tigre_bianco> (James 3:16) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

<Tigre_bianco> (James 3:17) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

<Tigre_bianco> (James 3:18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

<Tigre_bianco> We will live according to the teachings of Jesus.

<Tigre_bianco> ........

<Tigre_bianco> (Colossians 2:6) As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

<Tigre_bianco> As believers and new creations, we are ambassadors for the Lord, and

<Tigre_bianco> we have a calling that is eternal.

<Tigre_bianco> .......

<Tigre_bianco> (2 Corinthians 5:20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

<Tigre_bianco> We have Christ in us, the hope of glory.

<Tigre_bianco> ........

<Tigre_bianco> (Colossians 1:27) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

<Tigre_bianco> We press on to the goal of eternity with Jesus.

<Tigre_bianco> (Philippians 3:8) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

<Tigre_bianco> (Philippians 3:9) And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

<Tigre_bianco> (Philippians 3:10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

<Tigre_bianco> (Philippians 3:11) If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

<Tigre_bianco> (Philippians 3:12) Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

<Tigre_bianco> (Philippians 3:13) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

<Tigre_bianco> (Philippians 3:14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
