<Tigre_blanco> Prayer
<Tigre_blanco> Prayer is the act of attempting to communicate, commonly with a sequence of words, with a deity or spirit for the purpose of worshiping, requesting guidance, requesting assistance, confessing sins, or to express one's thoughts and emotions. The words of the prayer may take the form of a hymn, incantation, or a spontaneous utterance in the praying person's words.

<Tigre_blanco> We're to pray for our enemies.
<Tigre_blanco> (James 5:16) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.

<Tigre_blanco> IV.......When are we to pray?

<Tigre_blanco> (Luke 21:36) Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape

<Tigre_blanco> V.......Does god answer prayer?
<Tigre_blanco> (Matthew 21:22) And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
<Tigre_blanco> (John 14:13) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father

<Tigre_blanco> If God doesn't answer your prayers....it's because you asked for the wrong reason.
<Tigre_blanco> (Philippians 4:19) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
<Tigre_blanco> It says that God will supply all of your needs....not your wants
<Tigre_blanco> VII.......How shouldn't we pray?
<Tigre_blanco> (Matthew 6:5) And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray
<Tigre_blanco> standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that
<Tigre_blanco> they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
<Tigre_blanco> We're not to pray just to be seen by others or call attention to ourselves.
<Tigre_blanco> (Matthew 6:7) But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathe do:
<Tigre_blanco> for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
<Tigre_blanco> We're not to use repetitions....or keep repeating the same thing over and over.
