<LoOkOuT> tonights topic of study is on Emotions and I want to try and show some of Jesus emotions as well as our own ...

<LoOkOuT> Expressing what is within

<LoOkOuT> Emotions are the core of our being and reflect one profound

<LoOkOuT> aspect of the wonder of being made in the image of God

<LoOkOuT> * verses will be from NKJV unless i specify otherwise and I will be also giving some scriptures but not posting them just giving a refference.

<LoOkOuT> Numbers 32:10 So the LORD’s anger was aroused on that day,

<LoOkOuT> and He swore an oath, saying,

<LoOkOuT> Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected by men,

<LoOkOuT> A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

<LoOkOuT> And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;

<LoOkOuT> He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

<LoOkOuT> John 11:33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews

<LoOkOuT> who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was

<LoOkOuT> troubled.

<LoOkOuT> More than anything else they detrermine our attitudes and

<LoOkOuT> behavior. Emotions often express outwardly our innermost beliefs.

<LoOkOuT> For instance, If we believe in God's sovereignty and ultimate

<LoOkOuT> control. we exchange fear and worry for peace and contentment.


<LoOkOuT> God makes Himself known to us not only in truth and by decree

<LoOkOuT> but in the way He reveals His heart. God is passionate in His

<LoOkOuT> pursuit of us , and that passion is expressed in a variety of emotions

<LoOkOuT> : grief at the rebellion of His children

<LoOkOuT> Hosea 11:8-9

<LoOkOuT> 8 “ How can I give you up, Ephraim?

<LoOkOuT> How can I hand you over, Israel?

<LoOkOuT> How can I make you like Admah?

<LoOkOuT> How can I set you like Zeboiim?

<LoOkOuT> My heart churns within Me;

<LoOkOuT> My sympathy is stirred.

<LoOkOuT> 9 I will not execute the fierceness of My anger;

<LoOkOuT> I will not again destroy Ephraim.

<LoOkOuT> For I am God, and not man,

<LoOkOuT> The Holy One in your midst;

<LoOkOuT> And I will not come with terror.

<LoOkOuT> *anger at their idolatry

<LoOkOuT> Jerimiah 2:11-13

<LoOkOuT> 11 Has a nation changed its gods,

<LoOkOuT> Which are not gods?

<LoOkOuT> But My people have changed their Glory

<LoOkOuT> For what does not profit.

<LoOkOuT> 12 Be astonished, O heavens, at this,

<LoOkOuT> And be horribly afraid;
