Evening
Whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
“As I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.”—They sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.—The one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption.
One who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.—The one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.—Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
