Evening
“I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me.”
“The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.”—We have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
My speech and my message were . . . in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. . . . But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
Your eyes will behold the king in his beauty.—We shall see him as he is.—“In my flesh I shall see God.”—I shall be satisfied.
