Date Nut Snacks
2 Sticks Butter
2 Pkgs Dates chopped
1 Can Flaked Coconut
2 Cups Chopped Nuts
4 Cups Rice krispies chopped
2 Cups Light Brown Sugar
Cook butter,dates,coconuts and sugar together for about 6 minutes medium heat. Sitr constantly while cooking. stir no longer than 6 minutes, add nuts,rice krispies. Stir well while hot. Roll into ball,then into powder sugar while hot.
Store in a air tight container and eat once cool. Will keep well frozen. If frozen unthaw at room temp. taste good cold.
