Holly's Stroganof Roast
This is my familys favorite reciepe. I like to make this for company or special ocassions, its hard to mess it up.
1 Large Beef roast
1 can cream of mushroom
1 dry french onion soup mix
1 can of Mushrooms (optional)
Do not add water
Brown Roast in frying pan with olive oil, and onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix cream of mushroom soup and french onion soup in slow cooker and stir well; I personally like to double the cream of mushroom soup and french onion soup mix to make more of the sauce for noodles. Add the roast and cook for 6 - 8 hours stirring occasionaly. Cut up pieces of roast and serve with egg noodles, sauce, and sour cream to top.
