Post Mon Night Studies/Devotionals/More/Weekly

Hello to allIn this Area of Forums Family on www.Christian-Chat.net we are going to Post from Now on our Weekly Studies-which as you read on are NOT just Studies,,But putting Our Heavenly Fathers Ways of teaching to others, in different formats,,NOW im not trying to in ANY way show or Direct or examplize Studies as a wrong or Bad or Hard or any way Derogeratory! What i feel God Leading me to Do is Give a Little stream of His Life Giving Water of his word and useing these simpler ways to feed us upon his Holy Water and to grow and walk with him and get Furthur upstream and into His River Of Lifes Teachings.
What was that all about? Well, Our Father Or One of his Messangers has laid Upon my heart that we need a type of simpiler or to put it more umm wadda they say in the Secular world more Politclly Correct? No thats not either,,its actully pretty simple, at one time in your Life OR are one now ,felt Like you were not in the right place,to learn Gods word, i see people weekly, when asked coming to Study in #rgc-chat people kinda go naww maybe next week,,or they say i never understand what thier talking about,or i know Jesus died for us but i just dont Understand and this isnt just one channel it is always or usually the same type of Loving Fellowshipping Christians and when the question is put forth to them well you need to Grow in God right Fred,,Fred says yes,,Very Quickly and VERY Correctly.
Without Knowlege GODS knowlege we cannot grow in Him and become as the Clay he is molding us into Daily to be those So close to perfect, so we can teach and share.Just lIke the only Perfect 1 Jesus Christ.
Very simply put, we need to Whatever we need to do to get our fellow Brothers and Sisters into Devotionals and Studies and do it Quick, because my fellow Chatters we are so Close to the end times i can smell the Glue from the Last page of revelations.
1389 in my nkjv.
Am i Being over Dramatic ,,Probably but if it brings in 1 person who usually dont go to Bible Studie but will come to the ones i host in the Room God Has lent me and my Friends,,then His Will Is Being Done .
Praise The Lord\o/.
WE <god and I> are going to tell stories,,WE <god and I> are going to once in blue moon gona have people watch a link that will be tied into the topic of the night from a christian magazine, I Shall e-mail what people dont wanna click on, I want true /false studies so everyone has 50/50 chance and learn some MORE and drink more of that Stream thats getting bigger and bigger and colder and closer, i want Fred to be able to attend Studie is what I want and I believe truely That God has told me to many are slipping through the cracks. So on Monday nights Lets Post Inspirational stories,,lets maybe take a whole night and let our young teens type and let them post scripture,Lets have scriptual Popup wars, lets watch 5 mins of Christian Music on a link with pictures on How Jesus Did a Miricle, lets do a praise report Night lets do Poetry.
But lets not do 1 thing let ONE more Christian or soon to be or thinking to be slip through that crack in wherever they are in Chat.
If your going to a Study and they say great see you afterwards let them know that all are welcome in #Single_Christian_Parenting on Monday nites at 9 pm est and please tell um its a type of Study or devotional room that the floors have unlimited Layers of Fresh Clean Carpet and no cracks in any of the floors in that channel.
Be Blessed
God Bless You and Yours
Your Friend In Christ

[21:10] [21:10] <+grumpybear> hey sparrow
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> The Brand New Pastor and his new wife were in a rush
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> to their first ministry, to reopen a church
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> in suburban Brooklyn, arrived in early October
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> excited about their opportunities. When they saw
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> their church, it was very run down and needed
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> much work. They set a goal to have everything
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> done in time to have their first service
[21:10] <@DadSonDaughter> on Christmas Eve.
[21:11] [21:11] <+thesparrow> I thought I missed it. Had tehr wrong time
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> They worked hard, repairing pews, plastering walls,
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> painting, etc, and on December 18
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> were ahead of schedule and just about finished
[21:11] * oopsie-daisie (RGCv4.0@ACA2766D.ipt.aol.com) Quit (Ping Timeout)
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> On December 19 a terrible tempest - a driving
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> rainstorm hit the area and lasted for two days.
[21:11] [21:11] <+grumpybear> wow
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church.
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> His heart sank when he saw that the roof had
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> leaked, causin g a large area of plaster about
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> 20 feet by 8 feet to fall off the front wall of the
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about
[21:11] <@DadSonDaughter> head high.
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> The pastor cleaned up the mess on the floor,
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> and not knowing what else to do but postpone
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> the Christmas Eve service, headed home.
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> On the way he noticed that a local business was
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> having a flea market type sale for charity so he
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> stopped in. One of the items was a beautiful,
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> handmade, ivory colored, crocheted tablecloth
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> with exquisite work, fine colors and a Cross
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> embroidered right in the center. It was just
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> the right size to cover up the hole in the front
[21:12] <@DadSonDaughter> wall. He bought it and headed back to the church.
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> By this time it had started to snow. An older
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> woman running from the opposite direction was
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> trying to catch the bus.. She misse d it. The pastor
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> invited her to wait in the warm church for
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> the next bus 45 minutes later.
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> while he got a ladder, hangers, etc., to put
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry. The pastor
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and
[21:13] <@DadSonDaughter> it covered up the entire problem area.
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> Then he noticed the woman walking down the center
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> aisle. Her face was like a sheet.. "Pastor,"
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> she asked, "where did you get that tablecloth?"
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> The pastor explained. The woman asked him to check
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG were crocheted into
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> it there. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> made this tablecloth 35 years before, in Austria.
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> WOW huh?
[21:14] [21:14] <+grumpybear> yah
[21:14] [21:14] <+Buttercup> yeah
[21:14] [21:14] <+grumpybear> thats yah
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> The woman could hardly believe it as the pastor
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> told how he had just gotten the Tablecloth. The
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> woman explained that before the war she and
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> her husband were well-to-do peopl e in A ustria.
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> When the ****s came, she was forced to leave.
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> Her husband was going to follow her the next week.
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> He was captured, sent to prison and never saw her
[21:14] <@DadSonDaughter> husband or her home again.
[21:14] [21:14] <+thesparrow> I got Holy Ghost bumps
[21:15] <@DadSonDaughter> sad :-(
[21:15] [21:15] <+grumpybear>
[21:15] <@DadSonDaughter> The pastor wanted to give her the tablecloth;
[21:15] <@DadSonDaughter> but she made the pastor keep it for the church.
[21:15] <@DadSonDaughter> The pastor insisted on driving her home, that
[21:15] <@DadSonDaughter> was the least he could do.. She lived on the other
[21:15] <@DadSonDaughter> side of Staten Island and was only in Brooklyn
[21:15] <@DadSonDaughter> for the day for a housecleaning job.
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> What a wonderful service they had on Christmas
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> Eve. The church was almost full. The music and the
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> spirit were great. At the end of the service, the
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> pastor and his wife greeted everyone at the door
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> and many said that they would return.
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> One older man, whom the pastor recognized
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> from the neighborhood continued to sit in one o f the
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> pews and stare, and the pastor wondered why he
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> wasn't leaving.
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> The man asked him where he got the tablecloth on
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> the front wall because it was identical to one
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> that his wife had made years ago when
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> they lived in Austria before the war and how
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> could there be two tablecloths so much alike.
[21:16] [21:16] <+Buttercup> oh my gosh
[21:16] [21:16] <+thesparrow> hmmm
[21:16] <@DadSonDaughter> kinda getting this people <grin>
[21:17] [21:17] <+grumpybear> oh man
[21:17] [21:17] <+Buttercup> hurry dad, hury Laugh Out Loud
[21:17] [21:17] <+grumpybear> lol
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> He told the pastor how the ****s came, how he
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> forced his wife to flee for her safety and he was
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> supposed to follow her, but he was arrested and
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> put in a prison.. He never saw his wife or his home
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> again all the 35 years in between.
[21:17] [21:17] <+thesparrow> he want to make us wait
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> Laugh Out Loud
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> The pastor asked him if he would allow him to
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> take him for a little ride. They drove to Staten
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> Island and to the same house where the pastor
[21:17] <@DadSonDaughter> had taken the woman three days earlier.
[21:17] [21:17] <+grumpybear> lol he wants to make us cry lol
[21:18] [21:18] <+Buttercup> Laugh Out Loud
[21:18] <@DadSonDaughter> nawwwww just think
[21:18] <@DadSonDaughter> He helped the man climb the three flights of
[21:18] <@DadSonDaughter> stairs to the woman's apartment, knocked on
[21:18] <@DadSonDaughter> the door and he saw the greatest Christmas
[21:18] <@DadSonDaughter> reunion he could ever imagine.

Post Monday 9est Single_Christian_Parenting Study

Good Evening all and thank you for coming, instead of opening with Praising our Father tonight im going to put forth a passage.
This Passage says alot on what were trying with God to be doing all that we do here whoa some of us these20-40 -100
or more hrs a week. It goes Like so. From Hebrews 6:10

For God is Not Unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shown toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and Do Minister,,, amen,,

Any comment s or Amens or :-) smilery Faces over that verse? . I truely in my very Humbled opinion that were living in wonderous times, and that in my 44 yrs many times ive thought oh its coming now ,our Father will come with trumpets from the sky,

But I say now the end is soon the signs are way to great and we need to if we have to as someone famous quoted- Get down and dirty <i dont have slightest idea who said that <LOL> and Start Now Saving Souls, we are here as God says in Hebrews To Minister

To save souls,if we feel like thats a labor of Love its says so in 6:10 lets have Fun doing our fathers work, and we get not just the Wholeheartedness ,,,Lord pray many of you have had 1 or 2000 come though you to Him and feel that spirit when they recieve jesus.

Its Like no other eartlhly reward and Children it says in the same lil verse FOR God Is NOT Unrighteous to forget our work,
I think thats Like Double time and a Half My Friends!!!

Ok as my long Departed Grandpa said alot <Chew on that a while Boy then spit it out youll figure it out soon nuff>, lil rough around the edges hed say about that sentence also,,other wise,, why my chidren do we come,,lets with God at our side get this channel and server and friends channels going Now before the end,,as Pastor paul said if i may quote him from other night,in his Letter to his Ministers

.....Ministering on the internet comes with many challenges most of them due to the inability to read the expressions of one another. We must rely totally on God and His Spirit to be able to know if the person on the other end is in fact being truthful or not.
Tough but so true and well put by PastorPaul.

Lets hear a lil story on a lil Shark Hunter then afterwards we will do a short ops metting all can attend op or not but it will be moderated :-),,,BTW i really love this story and if i dont mess up reposting it,,ladies get da mens hankies outa the drawer or his back pocket LOL k.

Leader's Insight: My Little Shark Hunter
Always brave, my son tackles a new dangerous mission. At times, I wish I felt better about it.
by Phil Callaway, guest columnist

Ever since he was knee high to a Doberman, the boy was fearless. Take him to the ocean and he'd jump in looking for sharks. Take him to the mountains and he'd see how high he could climb. One day when he was five,

I watched in horror as he jumped off a roof—a garbage bag duct-taped to his back. We couldn't be more opposite, my son and I. The higher he climbs, the more he believes God is with him. Not me. I believe God put us on dry land and says, "Lo, I am with you always."

In his first year of college, he called one night to ask me for money. "I'm sorry," I said. "You have reached this number in error. Please hang up and call your Uncle Dan."

"I scaled a 300-foot cliff today," he said, undaunted. "You'd have loved it."

Right. His father who contracts vertigo standing on a skateboard.

For years I've wondered what God would make of our son. Would he call him to be a crash-test dummy? A professional bungee jumper? Or would he fulfill every North American parent's dream by settling down in a huge house with a nice wife and provide us some grandchildren to spoil?

The unexpected answer arrived by e-mail one day:

Dear Dad and Mom,

I just want you to know that I met a couple nice girls and we're planning on being married. In Utah. Not really. But I did meet Lucy. You'll like her a lot. It's surprising how quickly you can find a Justice of the Peace down here. Lucy owns a tattoo parlor, but seldom works.

.Her father won some money in a lottery, so she's set for life. I won't need to work anymore either. I've bought a Mercedes convertible and you'll be happy to know I put a chrome fish on the bumper.

If you haven't fainted yet, here's the truth. It may be more shocking. In the country of Uganda, the Lord's Resistance Army is committing atrocities against children that are too awful for me to put in this letter.

Over the years they've abducted 50,000 kids and turned the ones they haven't murdered into soldiers. I'd like to work with street children in Kampala. I'll be living with local missionaries. It will mean lots of needles and I'll need to raise a little money too.

Dad, you told me once that Jesus came to comfort us, not to make us comfortable. I guess I've been comforted enough; it's time to offer some to others.

Your son, Steve

"Where do you think we went wrong?" I asked his mother. "Couldn't he just have a beach ministry in Hawaii? Maybe we blew it taking him to other countries and showing him what the real world looks like. Don't you just hate it when your son practices what you've been preaching?"

"It's what we've prayed for all these years," she said with a grin, "that he would live life on purpose."

And so one month ago, we hugged our firstborn son goodbye as he embarked on a grand adventure half a world away. It's funny the questions people ask when they hear he's in Uganda. "Aren't you worried about his safety?" I have my moments.

Check a list of the most dangerous spots on earth and Uganda nears the top. But is safety what we're here for? Isn't Complacency the most dangerous place on earth? Isn't Suburbia sucking the life out of our teenagers more than any foreign country ever could?

I sat with a missionary the other day who is pouring her life out in Pakistan, patching bodies and souls for Jesus. She's the only missionary in her area whose parents support her being there. I must be honest: I understand.

There are times I'd rather Steve was home making good money—putting it away for my nursing home bills. Yet I cannot hope for more than this: that my children will hear God's voice despite a noisy culture, and that they will obey.

A few nights before he left I asked Steve what he'd miss most about home. "The dog," he said, smiling. Then why is it that I found him studying family photos and lounging on the sofa watching an old Disney movie with his brother and sister? Was he killing time? Or saying goodbye to the remnants of childhood?

I've shed a few tears, for sure. But mostly I've been giving thanks. For a son who's a much improved version of his father. For e-mail and cheap overseas phone rates. And I'm thankful there are no sharks in Uganda.

Letting It Go
Why the only way to move forward is to put down the past.
by John Trent

Two monks on a journey came upon a small river
where the bridge had been washed out. Standing at
the water's edge was a beautiful woman dressed in
elegant clothing. Seeing the situation, one monk
offered to carry her across the river so her dress
wouldn't be ruined.

Safe on the other side, the woman expressed her
gratitude, and the group parted company. The men
had walked only a few steps when the other monk
turned to his companion.

"How could you?" he spat. "You know our order
strictly prohibits any interaction with women, yet you
carried one across a river!"

"Yes," the first monk agreed. "I carried her, and
then I put her down. But it appears you carry her
still.”

That story speaks to a need I see in many dads'
lives: the need to put something down in order to
pick up something more important, such as a
revitalized spiritual life or a deeper commitment to
their families.

Take Dan, for example. He put everything he had
into growing a small company to mid-size ranks.
That's why he spent half his daughter's birthday
party talking business on the phone. He did watch
her blow out the candles—on videotape.

Or take Mike, who couldn't lose the guilt he
carried from an auto accident that left a nine-year-old
in the hospital. Or Eric, who grew up with constant
criticism from an angry father; even today Eric can't
stop wearing the label of "failure."

On your way to becoming a better father and
husband, is there something you need to put down in
order to move toward God's best? Here are three
principles that might help:

1. "Putting down" begins at the marriage altar.
Genesis 2:24 isn't just something pastors say at
wedding ceremonies. It's a powerful truth that needs
to shape every marriage: "For this reason a man shall
leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and they will become one flesh."

This means more than just moving away from
your parents. Many people who are geographically
distant from parents and in-laws are still emotionally
smothered. One act of "putting down" for all of us
begins with moving into healthy independence from
our own parents. That might mean setting clear
boundaries with our parents or building new family
traditions to foster closeness in our marriages.

2. Putting down past wrongs frees us to move on.
Listen to King David's words about the nature of
unconfessed sin in his life: "When I kept silent, my
bones wasted away through my groaning all day
long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon
me. … Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did
not cover up my iniquity … and you forgave the guilt
of my sin" (Ps. 32:3-5).

Perhaps you haven't asked God's forgiveness for
an area of sin in your life. If so, expect God's
conviction to stick to you like Super Glue. What
loosens the seal and frees us to move on is
confessing sin to God and accepting the cleansing
that confession brings.

3. "Putting down" allows us to focus our eyes
forward. Paul chronicled his shortcomings and failures
several times, even calling himself the "least of all the
apostles." Yet when push came to shove, listen to his
words: "Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to
have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting
what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I
press on toward the goal" (Phil. 3:13-14).

Getting Over Guilt
God didn't send his Son so we live with the burden of blame. Here's what to do when guilt gets in the way of good parenting.

ARTICLE: Letting It Go

Dan, Mike, Eric, King David and Paul each needed
to release something significant in order for them to
grow in their spiritual and personal lives. How about
you? Is there something you need to put down
today?
