Default Blogging Prayer Partners......

My wife and I are working in Mexico, and involved in church planting. We have a blog to inform people of how we're doing and for prayer/praise points. We are having a push on prayer this while and wondered if we could raise 50-100 people to regularly check out blog and be praying for us. It's such a blessing for us to ask this as we know God will raise up a praying people, and we wanted to post on here to see if any of of you would be interested. Tell us what you think on here and/or check the blog out. Prayer is so important to our ministry here and we hope that you can join us before the Lord!

I'm so glad to read that u r doing some church planting!
That is such a good thing to do, because it makes some people take notice that there r people taking care of the old church (or new) and making it look very, very nice looking (beautiful - alright I said it! Ha, Ha)!
Some churches have (yr around) plants and show that their being taken care of & there r others who look like no body gives a hoot about!
I'll squeeze in a prayer!
Keep up the good work!

I know the struggles of Church planting because I am apart of one. So you can definately count me in on praying for your church!!! God Bless!!!

I looked at your website and it is quite moving, Jonny. The best of luck to your planting.
I am here on this website because I was led to it by a widow I met online from a young widows group. I am Irish Catholic, but haven't really been to Church for a long time. I hope you will forgive my floundering around on this site. I don't think we even read the same edition of the Bible. What is a junior member?
thanks
Marian

Hi Marian,

So glad to have you here. A junior member simply means someone who has posted up to a certain amount of times, I think 50 or so. As for editions of the Bible, the Roman Catholics accept as canonical additional apocryphal works which are not included in the protestant versions of the Bible. However, the two groups share many of the same books as well in their bibles. I recommend looking at the New Revised Standard Version, which is a good readable translation so you can compare it to the RC version. I hope you enjoy your time on this forum. Let us know if we can be of any help.
