    Hi Christie,
I sure do appreciate everything you shared with me. I love Julia- she has saved me in more than one way. My beloved spuse of close to 34 years was injured in a terrible accident at work, - we both work(ed) at the same college. He died on 1/1/2007. I woke up and found him dead. He wasn't getting proper w/c care and died after almost a year on crutches. He was ran over by a malfunctioning skip loader and his right leg and foot were crushed to bits. He was able to crawl up and turn it off with a kill switch before it ran into the street and hurt others. He was my Peter, my rock. My sister died in August of 2006, she was next to me- I am the eldest of 7- 5 girls then two boys. Bless her son, he is austitic, she was only 50, talking to another sister with whom he now lives, he said that grandma and granpa must have been pleasantly surprised to see her so soon in Heaven.
IBS is irritable bowel syndrome. It is not pleasant. I went from a size 8 to a 0 and can't gain weight, no matter. It is painful and exhausting.
I loved the description of your farm. I am wondering where I will end up. I have a nephew coming from Canada to live with me and go to school. I will be happy for the company. I like to grow orchids and herbs, love to cook. It has been hard since Pete died, but I am cooking for my staff and others at school.
I have a son who I gave up for adoption- the result of a horrific event when I was 16 and he was adopted by very rich parents, but alas his moral standards aren't mine and he doesn't want to be in contact. It breaks my heart, but that's the way it is. I pray daily for both of us.
Both my parents are gone and I thank God daily they died before my sister Hilda and Peter.
Boy, I never know either when I am going to cry but it is less painful and less often but I just accept it. So sorry about the problems with the kids but time will make others forget the events and find something else to focus on. Why people judge others... I am getting off topic, sorry! I was so impressed to read the amount of strawberries and other veggies you all have!
I am an avid reader- since I teach too, but my Dad taught me to read at 3and 1/2 and I haven't stopped- have close to 5,000 books and that is after gleaning the collection for donating!
I like to embroider and do a lot of pillowcases. I have a crazy Siamese cat-Rhua - Irish for red- he is white with cherry markings and sapphire blue eyes- very very talkative and he keeps me company.
When my nephew comes down I shall have him downlaod a picture for me.
I have been meaning to write but have been so busy with school! Pleae forgive me.
I hope I haven't burdened you too much with what I have written. Bless you. I can't tell you what your message to me meant.
    Your sister
    Marian
now I must start my letter to Julia! I also love to hand writte, so if you ever feel like a real letter friend...

    Hello Everyone!
It won't be long now and we will be on the road.
We are headed to a Tenn wedding at Fall Creek Falls! We r a buzzing today getting ready to leave. We have a service at our local Care Center that we do the first Tuesday of each month. You know a little Joy spreading in worship! We sure love them and they are so appreciative God is GOOD! It really is a privilege that God allowed us to be apart of their lives. Thank you Jesus!

A tiny baby turtle gone. Yesterday thinking that the turtle eggs in the incubator where no longer alive I cut one open. It was very small and yet still alive. I new it would not live as the yolk sack was still very large. However, it wanted so badly to live. It crawled all the way accross the cutting board. I had a hard time dealing with this it made me feel very small and insecure about life. As I picked up this tiny turtle it clung to my finger.
As I meditated on this the LORD seem...

    Another Day on the Farm
Today was slow getting around but I had some very good excuses. My grand daughter Madelynn 7 years was up at 2:00am and needless to say she didn't make it to the toilet. My grandson Franklin 10 months was also spending the night as my daughter works early am shifts and is still recooperating from ear infections. His antibiotics give him some terrible smelling, loose is to stiff a word, diapers. Not to mention my finger...
