House Building Journal...

From my mom- in an email dated July 14, 2008 "Finish your outdoor work and get your fields ready; after that, build your house." Prov. 24:27 Read in today's scriptures. Sure sounds like what has been going on here. Mom”
The house building has been very slow going. I must confess, I have been very disappointed with the progress thus far. It would seem that every time we can finally work on the foundation, it rains. Again. (Sigh) My parents are helping...

By God's gracious providence-- the kids and I are being blessed with a new house this summer! I have been hesitant to post about it- as of yet-- instead treasuring these things quietly before the Lord- simply amazed at His faithfulness, goodness and mercy!
It has been so wet and rainy this spring that we have had a difficult time getting in to break ground- but finally dug the basement foundation the first part of May! (Makes me think of the chorus to that most...
