Unfortunatly I was in the hospital yet again and for the same symptoms. This time it was for 2 days and I still dont remember it a week later. The good thing is that they finally diagnosed me with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and bipolar depression; it would have been nice to have gotten this 12 years ago when the problems started, but I guess with the department of veterans affairs, late is much better than never, and usually all you can expect. I am truly thankful that my wife has stood by me...

After nearly a year of living with my inlaws after losing my home and job, I think that my family - specifically my wife - has gotten used to the idea that we no longer have the income to lead the type of life style we used to. It allways amazes me to see how quickly my kids adjust to any changes in life either good or bad. They are so resilient that it makes me wonder what it is that happened between childhood and adulthood. for some reason, as adults we have lost something - the ability to enjoy...

I think that I am finally getting used to this new job I have been working for the last 7 or 8 months now. Initially things were really hard - going to sleep immediatly after work every day, just too exhausted to even spend time with my wife and kids. I still deal with cronic fatigue, but God has given me the strength to be able to work and do a good job for my boss, and to spend quality time with my family and be the father and husband that God has called me to be. I remember when I first started...

Getting settled can be a real chore when there are more than just your family moving into the same home; especially when we have been on our own for such a long time. My wife and I have been married for over 10 years, and have lived in our own home for at least the last 9 of those years. I think that my wife is taking it harder than I am, and thankfully the kids don't seem to mind at all, they always loved to come to Grandma and PaPa's house. The fact that Holly has to return to a situation that...

Now that I have officially moved out of my house, it is time to re-evaluate what it is I hold most dear in my life. I guess it is easy, especially with so much drama taking place, to lose perspective on the important things in life. I just went out last evening and bought my wife a bottle of nail polish. It was just a small thing, cost no more than a few dollars, but was well worth the trip to the corner store. You would have thought I just bought her a new car. She loves it when I do things that...
