Hey everyone, sorry about the thread if it didn't belong here. I dudn't really know what testimonies were. But if this is in the wrong forum, i would like it to be removed/deleted.



i have noticed that agressive atheists specificly target Christianity more than any other religon. Why they do this, i dunno. I have seen videos that are killing the faith of others. Videos like "prayer is fake", "The root of all evil", etc. I want to know why they hate christianity so much. It specificly says "Thou shall not kill" on the ten commandments, christianity encourages abstanance, and not to mention it supports anti-drug use. Does that sound violent to you?

I have also noticed whenever they bring up violent christians, they're connected with cults. Did god say "burn whoever you think is a witch"? nope. did he say "torture those who do not follow my path untill they do"? absolutely not.

I have also seen videos of atheists burning bibles..... wait wait wait wait wait!...... hold the phone... i thought we were the violent ones! *rofl* these people are trying so hard to get christians to retaliate with physical violence, yet all they are getting is the tears of the christians that witness these nightmares! what is the purpose of burning bibles? is it supposed to scare me? is it suppose to intimidate me?...... i don't think so!

one of prayer's main existance is to give people hope and faith during times of need... When christians see their father get mutilated by a bear before the swat team arrives, they pray. BUT, as usual, the atheist is their to put them down. "Prayer is not real you idiot! god doesn't exist and neither does anyone care." The christian is feeling worse than before because of their heartlessness.

They support gay merriges (or however you spell it). And if their is too manny gays/lesbians in our society, our children will grow up gay/lesbian. It'll be so bad that we'll have to result to cloning (which i hope never happans). Christians try to protect their children from the evil that lurks in our streets, but they give us a bad name by saying we hate gays/lesbians.

Christians, istead of retaliating with physical violence, pray for their enemys. But they spit it back in our faces.




Are we really evil people from what the faithless say? are we really the cause of violence?........ how about......no!!! We are the victims here! I urge everyone that reads this to understand my anger. I can't stand hearing slander of my religon.... And atheists take texts out of the bible and misinturprated it (or however you spell it) into words of evil! what can we do to end this?

Vavelva, you sound young or at least young in Christ. However, you also sound extremely perceptrive. The Bible does say that out of the mouths of babes may come the wisdom of God. While the type of nonsense and double standard you describe is normally only acheived with the mental gymnastics of "HIGHER EDUCATION".

What you are describing is called "POLITICAL CORRECTNESS" as opposed to the truth. In answer to your question, since only the Judeo-Christian ethic is based on 'absolute truth' and therefore teaches only the truth, they are the only logical target for those who hate truth. If you hated Chinese food would you attack Germany?

You are on the right track with your observations, just remember to keep on praying as when Jesus from the cross prayed "Father forgive them for they know not what they do!"

(It's in The Bible - Doctrine and Theology Forum, if you just go to the main page and press Ctrl+F and write creation, you will find it). I have recommended there some easily read books on the topic of creation and evolution too.

As for the other topic, I'm not glad about the situation in the society either but we are the light to this world and the stonger is in us. We should influence people around us. The end times will look like this but we should be at least able to influence our own families.

I'm not married yet but the man I hope to marry is a really true man. He's not soft and effeminate at all and he can have big influence on others. I believe our children will be his copies and especially sons will turn to men like him no matter how many homosexuals will hang around. I believe family is what has the biggest influence on the way we form.

Vavelva, I hear you. Yesterday saw the launch of an advertising campaign by atheist groups in Britian. London buses will be carrying the slogan "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life." The 'probably' is only included because the bus company refused to carry it otherwise.

And why have they done this? Because the Church have been advertising the Alpha course on the side of London buses for a while now and they wanted to retaliate.

I think it is very sad.

We are not victims unless we allow our selves to be. Ignore the message on the side of the British bus- do we really think it will affect a true believer?
We need to focus on sharing a loving message, but please we need never feel like victims. If family isn't a good influence, we love them, we just don't like their behaviour and act accordingly.

I agree with this, I just find it very sad that some can only build themselves up by trying to tear others down. If anything they are the victims because they are the ones failing to fill a God shaped hole in their hearts.
